Give Me A Cigarette

Poem

Give me a cigarette, you!
Know, I never smoked before
Don’t trust me? It’s true
Give me a glass of wine, bro.

Why?

Silence, no one is around
but the smoke and
a red glass of wine

Why?

It’s been a tough one,
loveless, lifeless, fatherless
Rarely I’ve seen the Sun
and the blue sky – cloudless

If I could sing, I would
but my voice is low
If I could run I should
have gone but my legs are slow

Give me a cigarette, you!

Very emotive. Your way of writing is really catchy. I would only say, Do not worry, your time too would come.
