Lapis Lazuli

Poem

Beneath the blossoming trees
and the budding leaves –
green and filled with juice.
Where life is full and alive!
When spring is dancing
its wild and hectic tango
and all the birds of summer
soar above lavender fields
and dive into the oceans
of mesmerizing blueness
а little stone is lying…
А stone that has a soul,
оnce beautiful and young
locked now, nowhere to go
but to wait and wait…
For days and months
just for a moment, once,
to see again and look
at the sky and try to kiss
with dry lips this lapis lazuli
with hope to set him free…
