Moonlight

Poem

 

Moonlight – shy and pallid,
pale is your face and amid
the brightest stars it shines!

Moonlight – kisses, passion-
strongest, hottest – my emotion,
deeper than the boiling ocean.

Moonlight- path unknown
on the surface – life I’ve known!
Merciless, cruel, cold, a stone!

Moonlight – darkest hours
in the lonely nights and days,
dying love, fading flowers.

Moonlight- dancing with you,
laughing, crying in the winds,
living in a world of dreams.
