Poem About Heartbreak

 

Is it easier to lie with words or with silence
to sleep in a bed over and over
whilst our minds race
elsewhere
with other people
other places
as ideas fleet
from our Technicolor dreams
all this time
suppressing
but I can’t prove it to you now
as my mind has no proof of entry
no database
no copies
