(the) Strength, In Our Love

poem about love for her

Poem

Singing happy tunes without a shove
Such a dedicated woman, easy to claim
She is responsible for giving me belief in real love
She will be the last woman that will carry my flame.

There’s no one that will change it,
This according to our strength in two
The minute you see the bottom of the pit,
Together, we turn as strong as bamboo.

Throughout the course of life
The battles we fought with bravery
Taking on the full human emotions
Telecasting our riveting transforming relationship.

During which we will motionlessly climb mountains
Demonstrating measures of unsatisfying explanations
Draping immense gestures of mounting love
Declaring combination will be our affirmation.

Thomas DeAngelo

This is a writer of modern poetry and an inspiring writer. Residing in the lower Appalachian mountains of Pennsylvania where he enjoys reading, writing and is his spare time hiking. He has been writing since the 1980's with expectations of being published. The words that flow by ink are the defeats and enjoyments of the life lived in the years that accompanied the mind of a writer that measured his time recognizing the passions of surrounding people.
