Spoken Word

Sure, I ramble; sloppy
Of course I strike out; ideal-deluded
Why certainly prejudice eludes the light of equilibrium; comfort
To be sure, all the night has to do is
throw its blanket over my cage, and I will sleep
a deep dreamless sleep, regardless of present/absent lover; solid

Must you wonder? The soft lining of an echo makes hardest buttress
to hold up weight of here-today, gone-tomorrow whispers; angst
Sweetie — you’re so precious — of course
I can never look anything

leaving only the memory of what once reached the heavens; answer

Jazz-soaked spirit running circles around despair...or something like that. Really. Lover of words, lover of being in worlds free...just...free. New Yorker, artist, Virgo besieged by airhead tendencies akin to Libra moves. Bronx is home base. Began an obsession with writing at seven and twenty-odd years hence, still at it. Enjoy/love/hate/be bored/appreciate to your heart's content. Or something like that. http://www.lbisonartist.com
