Poem

There is only air
between their faces now,
no touch, no smile, no look,
just air.

He would like to hold her hand
and go back
while she looks at the clouds:
black, marine and brown shadows
are falling from the sky
while the yellow sun
disappears behind the buildings
watching from above.

The train station couple,
breaking apart.
Is there no more love
behind their eyes?

The seeds of their love
have been rotten since the beginning.
They were and still are
two different plants:
a cactus and a peach,
forgotten on the table.
