Poem

Sometimes its as if the Earth opened up and left a
crevasse so deep and wide we hardly knew it started until the
waters dripped in over and over and I leapt
for you but you didn’t reach back for me and my rope caught me back to the
hook on my side as I swing here
waiting
for you
