Poem

I believe what I see
I trust in what I touch
I find it easier seeing what’s in front of me
I find truth in my inner eyes vision

Born into a (Roman) Catholic family
Born into a troubled world
…made easier by a biological father
Born into freedoms to be free
Born into the arms of a loving mother

I trust in what is real
I believe in only one life
I will find out more in my time
I see belief in present survival

Born to raise some hell but will not
Born to go full speed through life, in one lane
Born to be free for it is my birthright, I will live
Born to see my path paved how I walk it home
…home, the home where peace resides.

I will find peace in my time, you don’t need to dig my hole
I believe there is a life after this world, you don’t need push
I will have no peace in pleasing you, but the one at my gate
I believe in loving my humankind as we are all (his) family.

This is a writer of modern poetry and an inspiring writer. Residing in the lower Appalachian mountains of Pennsylvania where he enjoys reading, writing and is his spare time hiking. He has been writing since the 1980's with expectations of being published. The words that flow by ink are the defeats and enjoyments of the life lived in the years that accompanied the mind of a writer that measured his time recognizing the passions of surrounding people.
