Beguile Through Love

Poem

 

Half truths, empty lies
that’s why I left you behind
Cringing in the light of the sunrise
I have slowly started to strive

Mind ceasing
emotions blind
I don’t know the wrong from right.
Everything glorious, everything bright.
My world is suddenly filled with love of every kind.

Segregating the love I receive
from obsession to genuine
I am standing with open arms
Under the stars of the dark sky.

Reaching out to my inner self
I am trying to begin again
One step at a time
A strong foundation with a strong mind

Sometimes there is sickness
I am broken
I am healing
Sometimes there are tears in the little joys

Sometimes I am lonely
Overflowing with company
Calling love with open arms
too much love, too much thought

Half truths, empty lies
that’s why I am scared of this world beguile
Cringing in the light of the sunrise
I have slowly started to strive
