There Is No End

poem about desperation

Poem

In the darkest tunnel
after shadows black and long.
He awaits me, with his hands
towards me…

I am walking like a ghost
not afraid of the misty clouds
and the cold of hopeless nights
towards him…
On the walls I see – faces

hands, dreams, photos
memories and dirty rags
Roses and carnations
Red and white, old and young
I am not afraid… I remember
some, the others fade away,
pass like a summer storm
Is it death, they call it?
Where is the end? Is this the end?
Of life, of everything?
I’m running… He is running
Together… we are one
God… life… light… love
