The Silence Of Snow

snow poems

Poem

in the distance
the sound of snow
is pure silence
but we can still hear it
in our heads

the peacful falling of snowflakes
into certain death
is so beautiful
and soothing
how can death be soothing?

our stepping
onto a fresh chain
of white
feels so good
on a sunny day

splendour.
that hurts our eyes
if the sun is too low.
I say goodbye
to never again.
and kiss the sky.
goodbye.
