Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

Poem

 

Yesterday was cold and dark
and you were little, very small
almost feeling like a tiny ant
on the edge, ready to fall?

Today you are getting stronger,
as you step and look beyond
and the night is getting shorter
though your heart is still afraid.

Tomorrow… who knows?
Tides of light will wash away
all the dirt lurking around the corner.
Fly, dreamer, see you again!
