Death – Thinking of Today

Poem

I often wonder if this is a slow death.
We all are in our own way stepping one step closer and closer towards our death.
Taking each day as it comes,
planning our future in our void.
Never knowing which day might be our last.
Slow death.
Dying slowly.
Each limb in each moment.

I often wonder whether I have any feeling at all.
Any feelings left to express.
Any thoughts attached to my creed.
I often wonder what has become of me.
A next step.
My next decision.
One step closer to death.
