Poem

I am small and hopeful
I see the sun, I see a smile
The world is with me
I’ll be here for awhile
I am sheltered and free
I see green, I see what could be
Miles of forever
Mornings screaming possibility
Warmth raises hearts
Like little red balloons in the sky
I wonder what the day will bring
And how high I’ll fly
