How do we keep up this farce?
If this question is directed at me
tell you what
get two strands of thread and a needle
pray real hard to sterilize the point
prick your finger
the red in the middle of this jumbled
conservation you interrupted with
will stain
quickly, now – wet the tip of the thread
with more talking – spit along the length
of a tailor’s lie stamp on the excess
through the eye of the storm bears a cousin’s
resemblance to one belonging to a needle’s
now we move
seduce the rhythm this fine leader of yours
makes plunging in and out of the mouth
gaping narrower and still more
narrow with each dip
and twitch
soon there will no closure to smile from
only finality

Lord Bison

Jazz-soaked spirit running circles around despair...or something like that. Really. Lover of words, lover of being in worlds free...just...free. New Yorker, artist, Virgo besieged by airhead tendencies akin to Libra moves. Bronx is home base. Began an obsession with writing at seven and twenty-odd years hence, still at it. Enjoy/love/hate/be bored/appreciate to your heart's content. Or something like that. http://www.lbisonartist.com
