A Day in My Life

Poem
Leaves cut the air
the airplane makes its way
to unknown lands
I wonder who it is
that whispers
in my ear
The Earth feels alive
and well
with eyes greener than ever
Laughter in the distance
disturbs the white flowers
on their path across the sky
The blue of the rainbow
catches raindrops
and sends letters to the stars
a day in my life
that I wish
would never end.
