A Quiet Walk

Poem

On a late night walk
On a beach or
Even more so
middle of nowhere,
which is believed to be peaceful.

Have you walked
The sand of the ocean’s front
On a summer night dawn
Where the breeze is calm
And the sounds relaxing.

Oh, that be a nice way to spend
Such a time on a quiet night
In a place of solace and joy
With the soul of time I go.

On a Chile night beach
Just as strolling the Bosporus River
Where the night shines in a moonlit reach
Taken from civilization becoming that drifter

The water crystal clear blue as daylight sky
Breezy cool nights met powering waves
Sharing the waves with glistening fish
The Moon’s brilliant light shining on me.

Such a night marvels at the moment of life
Now, I dare be seen here walking it alone
But yet this is more than just a simple walk
Nights as these are for lovers to be one.
