Good Night

poem about giving up

Poem

It’s a good night to die.
The weather is fine,
And the battle in my brain will not ever subside,
My God, it’s a good night to die.

It’s a good night to die.
There’s no one around,
To be troubled by blood surely left on the ground,
Tonight, it’s a good night to die.

It’s good night to die.
I’ve done all I can do,
To let go and let God and to let go of you.
Let it go; it’s a good night to die.

It’s a good night to die.
So I bid you goodbye.
And I pray to the angels my spirit will fly
And find peace- on this good night to die.
