Poem

O, sister of my heart
You are no longer the
Deviation of my mind
The purge in my sole
Or the ivory footsteps
You walk alone in
Midnight skies along
Trees that cry
And shadows illume
You. I am no longer
Spoken, unsaid will
Undone, need forgotten
As my eyes draw
Upon your perky
Pose in this stillness
I am flattened like
Flattery too well said
Without composure
Kindred to me you
Stand alone where
I admire you.
