Poem

As the night sky’s blanket stretches over the sun and clouds
Wrapping them up for the next day
As I watch from the waterfront, leaning over the weathered rail
and see one smooth over the other
How protective, gentle
It is crazy that

Everything is interconnected
One universe unites us all
Gravity holds us in our spheres
And they in theirs
As we dance around each other in the moonlight
One wishing upon the others for forever
