When She Sings

Poem

Golden night has spread its wings
in the summer sky above.
Swallows dancing while she sings
her song of life and love.

She caresses me and whispers
words of wisdom and eternal calm.
To close my eyes she’s come –
breathe life in lifeless strings.

“Are you angel? I inquire!
Are your lips red, fire?
Are your eyes blue ocean?
Is your kiss soothing lotion?”

No answer… no one… darkness.
Illusion?
Or just the Devil’s trick?
Confusion?

Will be waiting day and night
For a glimpse of red carnations,
Soothing lotion and blue oceans.
