Let it begin

a hand touching the wheat in the sun

I am reclaiming my body.
I am taking charge of this skin.
My limbs will move on my wish.
I will start and finish.
Ch. Ch. Ch.

I am feeling the air now.
Air flowing through my hair,
Whispering my songs,
Dancing among the strands.
The air looks at me. It stares.

Wish.
Make a wish.
Shhhhhh.
Make a wish.
Close your eyes.
Let it begin.

I am reclaiming my body.
I am taking charge of this skin.
Shouting “Me Too” on social media.
This circus sickens.

We are going in roundabouts.
Again and again.

Breathe the air.
Shed the old skin.
Forget your miseries.
Let your Happiness begin.
