Give Me a Beer

poem about sorrow

Poem

It was only me, the pen, the paper.
Perfect. Let’s have a drink,
maybe two? What do you think?

Oh Muse, let’s meet in Paradise,
I want to see you next to me.
But do you love for free?

I doubt. I doubt the sober men,
everything is wrong with them.
Do they deserve a loving heart?

Listen, I think I’m gone. Please,
do not ask me when or where,
give me another beer, it’s all I want!
