Nature Poem

The silence of walking
on leaves and small brances
lifeless on the floor
the colour of blood
on the trees and skyes
the smell of water
crystal clear
running and taking everything with it

the sound of nothing

that is why I love you
autumn

birds fighting the cold
dears hiding from the gun
squirrels biting each other for food
a cruel, cruel world
full of beauty and warmth

the amazing contrast

that is why I love you
autumn

the need to feel
somebody else’s touch
the melancholy gaze
into the dark
the fire creeping its way
through the wood

everyday’s fading into nothing

that is why I love you
autumn

you leave me speechless
full of death
and wonders
you make me want to run
and scream

you silence me

that is why I love you
autumn
