Summer Sky

Poem

What does one need more
than the sky above – blue and big?
It’s the story of an old man,
the hug of tired mother.

It smells of the ocean wild,
I can see the boat, the men, the fish…
And the river that will ever flow,
the wind, the shadow of my home…

It smiles, it lives,
and will show you many worlds,
it is the book that says it all:
it’s summer, dream and love.

  1. I want to be there in that summer, away from the city 🙂

It’s strange coz today I was feeling that way and I wanted to write something down… you did it instead of me. Long live the summer and the sea!
