Sad Poems
The dates of my birth and suicide
Ironically, coincide,
Party goers see the inside
Of my brain against the wall.
I didn’t invite them anyways
to this occasion – my special day
Which in hushed voices, later they will say
Really was a shock.
“He didn’t seem to be the type”
“A fruit rotten before it was ripe”
“Why did he have to do it tonight”
I am better off.
