Don’t Even (Try It)

Sprint ahead and rattle a few cages
You’ll get more than bargained for
At first glance parakeets only
Appear to be uncomfortable
Really they appreciate the
Break in time sliding both its
Hands up the skirt of days
Weeks months … they’re all whores

When can I get a kiss like they?
Edgy doesn’t begin to cover it
Loose garments mind more
Than tight ones
Modesty visits one home at a
Time, therefore until your
Turn comes, please do
Indulge in all forms

Jazz-soaked spirit running circles around despair...or something like that. Really. Lover of words, lover of being in worlds free...just...free. New Yorker, artist, Virgo besieged by airhead tendencies akin to Libra moves. Bronx is home base. Began an obsession with writing at seven and twenty-odd years hence, still at it. Enjoy/love/hate/be bored/appreciate to your heart's content. Or something like that. http://www.lbisonartist.com
